Seven Tyler ISD elementary and middle school students recently earned top honors in the 2017 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Visual Arts Contest sponsored by the Tyler Together organization.
The theme of the contest was “The Time is Always Right to do What is Right.” Fifty-three Tyler ISD students participated in the contest.
The winning artists were honored during a ceremony held Monday, January 16, at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. All contest entries will be on display at the Tyler Public Library through February 10.
