Moore MST Magnet School student wins 1st place in Smith County math competition

January 31, 2017


Students across Smith County recently had the opportunity to compete in the Smith County Sumdog Math Competition. The online math competition tasked students with completing 1,000 math problems outside of the school day. The students received points for each correct answer. Moore MST Magnet School student James Brigido earned a first place finish by providing 973 correct answers out of 1,000.


Moore also had 24 students place in the top 50 and seven in the top 10.
