Tyler ISD honors Veterans with campus ceremonies and events

Tyler ISD is proud to honor Veterans and their service to our great country. Check out the list of campus ceremonies and events below:

 

Ramey Elementary School
Family Reading Night and Veteran's Day Program
Thursday, November 9
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Ramey Elementary Cafeteria - Reading stations will be in the cafeteria from 6:00 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. for parents and students to visit. Kindergarten and 1st graders will perform their Veteran's Program at 6:40 in the cafeteria.

 

Douglas Elementary School
Veterans Day Celebration
Friday, November 10
2:30 pm
Cafeteria - This is a celebration to honor the men and women who fought and died for our country.

 

Griffin Elementary School
Veterans Day Program
Friday, November 10
2:00 p.m.
Cafeteria - Students will be reading a short paper about the American flag, singing American songs, and the Twirling club will be performing.

 

Three Lakes Middle School
Veterans Day Assembly
Friday, November 10
10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Gym - There will be an assembly for our Gator Family to honor all of our veterans and service members in our community that have served or are serving in the Armed Forces. A reception will follow in the Library for our veterans.

 

Bell Elementary School
Veterans Day Program
Friday, November 10
9:00 a.m.
Cafe - Bell students and staff will celebrate and honor veterans through song for their patriotism, love of country, and their willingness to serve and sacrifice of themselves for our country. Veterans throughout the community are welcome to be a part of this event.

 

Birdwell Elementary School
Veterans Day Program
Friday, November 10
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Birdwell Auditorium -We will be honoring all veterans and the sacrifices they made for our country. Rev. Hager, Tyler ISD school board president, will be our guest speaker. Birdwell students will be singing Patriotic songs for our program.

 

Bonner Elementary School
Veterans Day Program
Friday, November 10
8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.
Bonner Elementary - 4th and 5th grade will perform a musical tribute for our veterans.

 

Caldwell Elementary School

Veterans Day Lunch

Friday, November 10

10:30 a.m. - 1p.m.

Military Veterans, mark your calendars to come and have lunch with your Caldwell Star. Lunch will be provided for each attending veteran. Thank you to the following partners for food, door prizes, and entertainment: Chick-fil-a on Troup Hwy, Super 1 Foods on Gentry, Brookshires on Rice Rd, Canes Chicken, and The Caldwell Star Band.
