During the holiday season every year, the football coaching staff and their families at Robert E. Lee High School all have various family traditions they celebrate. But this year, they are beginning a new tradition as a coaching family; shopping for Christmas gifts for children through the Children’s Advocacy Center of Smith County.
“We have been so blessed to be a part of this community and school district,” head football coach Kurt Traylor’s wife, Katie, said. “This has been a family tradition in our family, and we decided as a coaching family to start a new tradition together.”
The coaches and families enjoyed an evening shopping together for gifts for their sponsored children.
