John Tyler takes 2018 Pantry Raid victory

September 10, 2018

It was quite the battle but John Tyler High School came out victorious as winners of the 2018 East Texas Food Bank Pantry Raid.

The Pantry Raid is a competition between both high schools to see which campus can collect the most canned food and monetary donations benefiting the East Texas Food Bank. The high schools also involve their feeder elementary and middle school campuses to collect donations on their behalf.

Both Tyler ISD schools collected a combined total of 41,315 pounds of food, providing 34,429 meals for hungry East Texans. Congratulations and well done, students!
