The Tyler ISD Board of Trustees recognized the November District Teacher of the Month and students of the month at their regularly scheduled board meeting.


The Robert E. Lee Debate Team is headed to state competition with debaters claiming 5 of the top 6 finishes at the regional level.


Superintendent Dr. Marty Crawford discussed numerous district achievements at the Tyler Chamber’s annual State of the District Luncheon.


John Tyler National Honor Society students taught Junior Achievement lessons to elementary school students.


It was signing day for Lee’s Haftu Knight and Carly Wyatt . Haftu will run cross country at the University of Texas and Carly will play soccer at the University of Alabama.


Young ladies from Hogg Middle School enjoyed a  day of learning and leadership at the Toyota headquarter sponsored by Girl Scouts of North East Texas.


Members of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority celebrated their annual Delta Day of Reading at numerous Tyler ISD elementary schools.


Andy Woods also spent the week focusing on literacy with guest readers and a story book parade.

THANK YOU to The Grove Tyler for once again treating full time Tyler ISD staff to a free Turkey!


And the incredible Tyler ISD Fine Arts program was certainly on display with Caldwell Arts Academy’s performances of the musical James and the Giant Peach, Jr.
