Tyler ISD promotes kindness, inclusion with Start With Hello Week

September 27, 2019

The week was all about one simple thing: empowering students to reach out and include others through the power of starting with "Hello."

In partnership with Sandy Hook Promise, a national nonprofit organization led by several family members whose loved ones were lost in the Sandy Hook tragedy, Start with Hello Week teaches students how to create a culture of inclusion and connectedness within their school.

Activities were centered around daily themes that followed the acronym H.E.L.L.O.  -

H- Hi's and High 5's to everyone you know!

E- Encourage Everyone!

L- Learn the names of other students!

L- Look for someone in need!

O- Connect with others!
