John Tyler standout, former NFL player spreads Christmas cheer to Tyler ISD elementary schools

December 19, 2019

John Tyler High School standout alum and former NFL player Teddy Williams delivered Christmas cheer to to Tyler ISD elementary students recently by donating new bikes and helmets to one boy and one girl at each Tyler ISD elementary campus. The event is a partnership with Teddy Williams, Tyler ISD and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, who will provide the helmets.

Williams has always had a passion for giving back to the Tyler and East Texas community where he grew up. For many years, Williams has been donating his time, energy and resources to help educate and instruct East Texas’ youth through a number of community projects, including the annual Fast Like Teddy Speed and Agility Camp. CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic and Tyler ISD support these efforts to give back to the community and promote a healthy, positive lifestyle.
